A farmer in south-central Minnesota says average yields are the
best he can hope for after a challenging growing season.
Blue Earth County corn and soybean grower Kevin Paap tells Brownfield weather difficulties began in the spring.
“We’re going to be uneven in the fields. And if there’s drowned out spots, those holes take away the yield in a hurry.”
Paap, who is the president of Minnesota Farm Bureau, says it’ll be a little bit before he can begin harvest.
