A farmer in southeast Minnesota who’s only been planting
for a couple days says all his spring fieldwork could be done within two weeks.
Ben Storm of Dover tells Brownfield he and his father strip-till corn and no-till soybeans, running two planters simultaneously.
“I figure we can probably plant all of our crop in 9 or 10 good days. It’ll probably take closer to 12 with a few hiccups here and there.”
He tells Brownfield they’ve made good progress since Sunday, and conditions are almost ideal.
