A U.S. Senator who supports the USMCA points out it’s not a
perfect deal.
Minnesota Democrat Tina Smith tells Brownfield she’s concerned about a part of the proposed agreement that would allow drug companies to lock in high prescription drug prices for a long time.
“I don’t understand why that is in the deal.”
She says there also needs to be a level playing field when enforcing the improved labor and environmental provisions included in USMCA.
