Missouri’s corn harvest progressed to 90 percent at the beginning of this week. It was around 80-percent this time last year. Soybeans dropping leaves reached 96 percent. Fifty-percent of soybeans have been harvested, nine percentage points behind last year.
Cotton harvest is ahead of average, approaching 90-percent. Rice harvest reached 97 percent. Sorghum harvested progressed to 75 percent. Winter wheat planted for 2019 is nearly half complete, with 30 percent emerged.
