Commodity groups are praising the president’s signing of the 2018 Farm Bill. Shane Kinne, with Missouri Corn Growers Association, says the funding of marketing programs in the farm bill is a big deal, “There’s some important trade programs in the farm bill that without a brand new farm bill were going to lapse and actually had lapsed as of September 30th. And, so, it’s extremely vital that this new bill got done before the end of the year.
