Missouri Farm Bureau members set their dairy policy priorities ahead of the upcoming Farm Bill discussions.
Vice President Todd Hays chairs the Missouri Farm Bureau resolutions committee. He tells Brownfield the updates to dairy policy align with next steps from the Federal Milk Marketing Forum, held in Kansas City earlier this fall.
“It’s a cumbersome issue: milk marketing and dairy policy. There aren’t as many dairy producers in Missouri as there once was.”
