A southeast Missouri man has been indicted in St. Louis federal court, accused of illegally applying dicamba herbicide to his cotton and soybean crops in 2016.
The indictment says Bobby Lowery, owner of Lowrey Farms in Parma (Missouri), applied a dicamba product that was not approved for post-planting application and farmers in the area reported drift damage to their crops.
Lowery is charged with misapplication of a pesticide, making false statements and giving fraudulent documentation to investigators.
