Missouri NRCS is providing two million dollars towards drought relief for livestock.

State Conservationist JR Flores tells Brownfield the emergency initiative offered through the EQIP program will be used to drill cover crops into existing pastures or hay land. The cover crops established from that effort can be grazed or hayed. He says producers do not have to be enrolled in EQIP to apply.
