USDA says 91 percent of the state’s corn crop is planted, about even with last year and the average. Corn emergence is still behind at 76 percent.
Fifty-two percent of Missouri’s soybean crop is planted, passing last year and the average.
Missouri cotton planting is three percent behind last year at 93 percent planted.
