There are improvements to the Missouri State Fairgrounds this year. The updates were possible through the generosity of long-time livestock exhibitors.
The State Fair Swine Barn retains it’s 1927 architectural significance and historical appearance, but is sporting new handicapped-accessible bleachers, a new superintendent’s office, a new wash rack and more. Swine Superintendent JR Reid is rightfully proud.
“What a God’s blessing it’s been with the Foundation and all my swine family here that has come to put this money together,” Reid told Brownfield Ag News at the State Fair Swine Barn Thursday.
