MO agriculture get a chance to expand market access to Japan

Missouri state officials say expanding meat exports will be a priority discussion in an upcoming trade trip to Japan.

Governor Mike Parson tells Brownfield Japanese consumers want better quality animal protein.

“Whether that’s beef, pork or chicken, whatever we want to send, it’s more opportunity for Missouri, because we sell some of the best products in the United States.”

Ag Director Chris Chinn, other state agency leaders and lawmakers will participate in the trade mission.
