Now more
than half of Missouri corn has been harvested. As of Sunday, corn harvest
reached 55 percent. That’s 22 percentage points below the five-year average.
Missouri soybean harvested reached 26 percent, six percentage points below
average.
Missouri’s
cotton harvest remains way behind at only 34 percent complete. Rice harvest
progressed to 92 percent as of Sunday, ahead of the average. Winter wheat planting
was at 33%; emergence was 15 percent, both slightly below the averages.
