MO Farm Bureau support additional interstate expansions

The president of Missouri Farm Bureau says the organization is supportive of an Interstate 44 expansion in Missouri.

Garrett Hawkins tells Brownfield farmers and ranchers are concerned about the road that connects Joplin to St. Louis.

“In the stretch around Rolla, there are concerns about bottlenecks, traffic loads and road conditions. We’ve heard a number of members complain as they haul cattle up and down the road.”

Hawkins says Missouri Farm Bureau members are also supportive of updates to Interstate 57, which connects Sikeston, Missouri to Chicago.
