An official with one of the nation’s leading farm real estate companies says interest in selling ag land is picking up among landowners.
Randy Dickhut with Farmers National Company says their ag land listings are up 21 percent compared to a year ago.
“People who have inherited their land sometime back or more recently, or owned it for a while, and they’ve been thinking about selling due to the economics and the outlook, are going ahead and deciding it’s time to capture the price now and get it on the market,” Dickhut says.
