Soybeans were sharply lower on profit taking and technical selling. Near-term U.S. harvest conditions should allow some areas to wrap up and conditions in South America are favorable ahead of full emergence of La Nina. CONAB’s second production projection of the season for Brazil is out Thursday, November 11th. Export sales were up sharply on the week, mainly to China, followed, distantly, by Mexico, with a cancellation by unknown destinations. Shipments were above what’s needed to meet USDA projections, but the overall pace continues to trail last marketing year.
