Missouri cattle producers in drought areas are also struggling. Some are looking to truck in water for their cattle as pond levels shrink. Some are cutting corn for silage and looking to buy more as the hay shortage presses on. Some areas of Missouri got an inch or so of rain Monday and Tuesday which might help with soybeans and fall pasture growth.
Most of Missouri has abnormally dry to extreme drought conditions.
