President Trump on Thursday continued to send mixed signals on resolving trade issues with China.
As he prepared to leave for his high-stakes meeting in Argentina with his Chinese counterpart, Trump told reporters that while he’s open to a trade deal, he’s not sure he wants one. He said he’s happy with the money coming in from China through tariffs.
“I think China wants to make a deal. I’m open to making a deal,” Trump said.
