The USDA will lead several trade missions in 2023 in an effort to build relationships and expand ag export opportunities.
Clay Hamilton is the Associate Administrator of the USDA’s Foreign Ag Service (FAS).
“Right now, we’re looking at Panama, Japan, and The Hague over the next four or five months,” he said during a press call on Thursday. “We’ll probably have three more after that.”
He tells Brownfield the US needs to diversify its ag export portfolio.
