Some lawmakers are calling on President Biden to sign the U.S. EPA’s rule that would allow E15 to be sold year-round in eight Midwestern states.
Congressman Zach Nunn tells Brownfield any further delays will punish farmers and consumers. “A consistent year-round E15 policy is something the administration has said ‘yes’ to several times. They have yet to do the groundwork to actually make that a reality.”
Nunn, along with Iowa’s Randy Feenstra, Ashley Hinson, and Mariannette Miller-Meeks, recently sent a letter to the president outlining the benefits of expanded E15 access.
