Cattle country is dry and, in some areas, really dry. A livestock economist says that is creating some challenges for cattle producers.
University of Missouri’s Scott Brown says when you look at the drought monitor map and overlay it with cattle country, there is too much red that overlaps.
But, he says, the weather isn’t all bad news for cattle producers’ bottom line.
