The largest winter storm of the season will hit most of the Midwest hard the next few days.
Brownfield Ag Meteorologist Greg Soulje says a 100-degree temperature swing from the Delta to the Upper Midwest will bring severe weather.
“It will run the range of weather from springlike severe weather in the southern states through a major corridor of ice, somewhere centered on the I-80 corridor or just north of there across the western Corn Belt/southern Great Lakes region, and then prolific snows,” he says.
