MSU cover crop directory available

Michigan State University Extension has released a cover crop seed directory to help growers better source local resources.

Cropping system agronomist Monica Jean tells Brownfield farmers need more robust options to find seed as demand grows.

“Seed availability is always a topic annually because depending on seed that’s grown, whether that’s here in Michigan, or over in other states, the weather really impacts both the quantity and the quality of the seed that you can get,” she says.
