The membership of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association set their policy priorities for the coming year.
NCBA’s newly installed president, Mark Eisele of Wyoming says addressing the estate tax issued will be front and center. “We’d like to keep those levels where they are at now,” he says. “Without that, there’s going to be problems with ranches having succession and holding them intact for their heirs.”
He tells Brownfield they’ll also work on protecting public and private property rights.
