NCGA not pleased with EPA biofuels proposal

The National Corn Growers Association’s 1st Vice President says the EPA biofuels blending proposal released Tuesday is not what they were hoping for.  John Linder tells Brownfield the EPA didn’t deliver what President Trump promised. “The President said it, so we need to try to engage and get him to hold the EPA accountable on this.”

Linder says corn farmers appreciate the EPA’s efforts to follow the law, but he says President Trump made it clear he wants to reach 15 billion gallons blended and EPA appears to have short-sighted that goal.
