The President of the National Corn Growers Association says
time is wearing thin to get the USMCA ratified this year.
Asking how progress on the agreement might fair once the election year begins, Kevin Ross tells Brownfield, “That is a hypothetical that I don’t think I am willing to accept and that is what I think the agricultural sector needs to make sure they are not ready to accept that either. This is something that we’ve got to really be vocal on and say let’s get this out of the way and make sure congress can function even with all the messiness that is going on in DC right now.”
Ross says farmers need to make sure their voices are being
heard.
