Nebraska Cattlemen continues to educate producers on conservation practices

The executive vice president of Nebraska Cattlemen says cattle farmers can play a big role when it comes to water quality.

“All Nebraskans should have high-quality, safe drinking water,” Laura Field said, “and so we feel like it’s really important proactively for agriculture to talk about the good things that we’re doing and the practices that people are putting in place to help control some of that stuff.”

Field tells Brownfield more education is needed to help producers adopt climate-smart practices.
