Most Nebraska crops are in good condition after last
week. USDA reporters say topsoil and
subsoil has more than 82% adequate moisture, and more than 11% has excess moisture.
Sixty-six percent of Nebraska’s corn is in good condition,
while 21% is fair and 10% is excellent.
Ninety-eight percent of winter wheat has headed and the crop
is 45% good and 28% excellent.
Eighty percent of the sorghum is good and 4% excellent with
about 97% of the crop planted.
