The Nebraska Farm Bureau Disaster Relief Fund, established after the devastating March floods in Nebraska, has collected over two million dollars in donations.
Megahn Schafer with the Farm Bureau Foundation says the response has exceeded all expectations.
“The generosity right here in our state, across the United States, and from different countries all across the world, has been really wonderful,” Schafer says.
She says 100 percent of funds raised are going to farmers, ranchers, and rural communities in need of assistance.
