Nebraska good-to-excellent crop ratings: Soybeans 70%, Corn 71%

The USDA’s

latest good to excellent ratings for Nebraska crops are 71% for corn and 70%

for soybeans.

Corn silking

reached 85% compared to the five-year-average of 95%. Twenty-seven percent of

Nebraska corn is in the dough stage.

Soybeans

blooming reached 78% compared the average of 91%. A little more than half of

the crop is setting pods.

Winter wheat

harvest is 75% complete.
