Nebraska soybean harvest at 94%, corn 77%, sorghum 85%

Nebraska farmers took advantage of nearly five days of good weather to gain on harvest work

The latest crop report from USDA says corn harvest is at 77 percent as of Sunday, several days behind normal.

The soybean harvest is 94 percent complete, compared to 98 percent a year ago and 99 percent on average.

Sorghum harvest is 85 percent done, a little ahead of last year but behind the five-year average.
