Corn planting in Nebraska stood at 46 percent as of Sunday, well behind the five-year average of 72 percent. Nine percent of the corn crop had emerged.
Soybean planting was at 20 percent compared to 32 average. Eight percent of sorghum was planted.
Winter wheat rated 67 percent good to excellent and 29 percent fair.
Pasture and range conditions were rated 78 percent good to excellent.
