Nebraska continues to have some of the highest crop ratings in the country this week. The state’s corn crop is rated 77 percent good to excellent, while soybeans check in at 73 percent.
Corn silking, as of Sunday, was 40 percent, compared to 70 percent normal. Three percent was in the dough stage.
Soybeans blooming was 46 percent, compared to 71 average. Eight percent of beans were setting pods.
Sorghum rated 80 percent good to excellent, with heading at 17 percent.
