The new CEO of the Illinois Soybean Association says hearing
from farmers and working WITH them is his top priority.
John Lumpe tells Brownfield, “I want them to come up to me. I am very approachable. I want to work with all of the commodity groups. We are trying to build some new bridges and mend some fences and really just plan ahead.”
Lumpe says for his 100-day plan, he is meeting with farmers,
members and staff one-on-one to get their input on a new strategic plan.
