The deadline to sign up for the Margin Protection Program is Friday, June 1st and Wisconsin’s State Farm Service Agency Director says county offices are preparing for a busy week of sign-ups.
Sandy Chalmers tells Brownfield some producers are waiting until the April margin calculations are released May 30th before deciding to sign up, but that’s okay. Chalmers says producers should call the office before they close Friday and get on their registration list.
