Chinese officials have welcomed an invitation from the U.S. to restart trade talks, according to various media reports.
White House chief economic adviser Larry Kudlow told Fox Business Wednesday that Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin sent an invitation to senior Chinese officials to hold another round of talks. And, according to BusinessInsider.com, China’s Ministry of Commerce says it welcomed the invitation and confirmed the two countries were discussing details of another meeting.
