Northeast Iowa farmer Vic Miller says crops in his area look great.
“We’re in a garden spot, one of the few I think in the
entire country,” Miller says. “We were a little late getting the crop in, but
we’ve had timely rains, we’ve not suffered any drought stress at all, and the
crop is developing nicely.”
Miller says the crops are running a couple of weeks behind.
“The thing that could hurt us now is if we get an early
frost.
