
A propane supplier for northeastern Missouri and western Illinois says timing and hard work have helped avoid propane distribution issues for his customers. John Baucom tells Brownfield more than 70 percent of Missouri corn and about 60 percent of Illinois corn is harvested as of this past Sunday, meaning that peak demand has passed.
“A lot of the guys have switched over to beans at this point,” Baucom told Brownfield Ag News, “Which has helped our need for propane.
