To northwest Iowa farmer Kelly Nieuwenhuis, this spring is starting to look a lot like last spring.
“We’re saturated. It’s pretty wet. And the way the forecast looks, if we get this big snowstorm coming up here the middle of the week, it will be exactly like last year,” Nieuwenhuis says. “So we’ll be ready when the ground gets fit, and then we’ll go hard.”
Nieuwenhuis is also a seed dealer, but he says no one is talking about changing their seed mix, at this point.
