OCM applauds senators for seeking JBS probe

The director of the Organization for Competitive Markets

(OCM) applauds Senators Rubio and Menendez for calling for an investigation

into JBS-S.A.

Joe Maxwell tells Brownfield Ag News that JBS has a

“horrible” track record that OCM has tracked for the past year, “They have

short paid cattle producers in at least three states, claiming that it was a

glitch in their software. They comingled cattle in Grand Island, Nebraska and

stole money, in our opinion, from the cattle producers.”

Maxwell says JBS is a powerful political influencer in the

U.S.
