Ohio Farm Bureau President Frank Burkett says the organization’s
73rd annual trip to D.C. highlighted the importance of meeting with lawmakers.
“It represents the grassroots of our organization and the
grassroots is the strength of our organization,” he says. “As we look at Ohio and
other state farm bureau organizations that are here this week and weeks
throughout the year, they’re here building relationships to really produce
results on behalf of the membership.”
He tells Brownfield that Ohio Farm Bureau members were able to discuss issues that impact their farms and communities.
