Mostly dry conditions continued in Ohio this week.
Greg Corcoran, a southern Ohio farmer, says his crops could use some rain in the coming weeks.
“I think our corn is pretty well set but we could use a few more rains here in late July and early August to help finish out some later planted beans we had this year and hopefully come in with a strong crop, he says.
The USDA says although corn is 71 percent good to excellent, and soybeans are 65 percent good to excellent, but both crops showed signs of stress.
