Ohio FFA Convention kicks off Thursday

The 90th Ohio FFA Convention kicks off Thursday.

Ohio FFA State President Kolesen McCoy says the convention

is a time to highlight the accomplishments of students.

“It’s a cool opportunity because once you go there you

realize what you are part of considering you walk int a room that’s filled with

8,000-9,000 people wearing the same exact uniform,” he says. “I’m really

looking forward to the members being able to get recognized and being able to

help encourage the younger members.”

He tells Brownfield the convention will be bittersweet as it

marks the end of his time as a state officer.
