Democratic members of Congress have drawn a line in the sand regarding cuts in the farm bill. U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio says, “We are not going to cut SNAP benefits.”
He tells Brownfield rising food prices are still a challenge. “There are far too many hungry kids in this country, still,” he says. “There’s far too many people struggling because of inflation and executive greed, frankly.”
He says he’d like to see a farm bill this year.
