The 90th Minnesota FFA Convention marked a beginning and an end.
For Lafe Aarsvold of the Plainview-Elgin-Millville FFA chapter, he says his journey to becoming a state officer began unconventionally.
“I started in FFA thinking this organization is not for me (and) this is not where I want to be. But it really switched really fast in 8th grade (when) I went to region Greenhand Camp in Region 8. I started to see how big this organization is, how many connections you can make, how many people you can meet through it.”

says he’s excited to represent members.
