Missouri Governor Mike Parson expects he’ll be ready to request a federal disaster declaration this week based on damage assessments in 16 Missouri counties that have endured historic flooding.
Based on preliminary reports, Parson says it’s evident that
federal recovery assistance will be needed to help Missouri families and businesses
hurt by the floods.
Agriculture disaster requests are made after federal disaster
