Parson issues proclamation for Marshall FFA

Missouri Governor Mike Parson has recognized the Marshall High School FFA for winning the Model of Excellence award at last fall’s national convention for the second year in a row. Chapter advisor Tyler Burgin, “We are the first chapter to do this twice in a row. We’re the first chapter to be recognized as the top 10 for seven consecutive years and we’re the first one to win it three out of four years.”

Parson issued a proclamation honoring the Marshall FFA chapter for its work with the Missouri Department of Conservation conducting avian influenza tests on ducks, which led to the award of excellence.
