Parts availability continues to be a problem for some farmers.
Noah Hultgren farms in west-central Minnesota.
“We continue to still have some issues getting certain parts for machinery. Some of it’s just harder to find for whatever reason.”
He’s unsure if the supply chain challenges are tied to the pandemic.
“But overall, seed and chemical is not going to be an issue. But some of the other parts for tractors and other machinery still a little slower than it was five or six years ago.”
Hultgren grows corn, soybeans, sugarbeets, small grains, canning crops, and alfalfa in Kandiyohi County.
