The Propane Education and Research Council says farmers should participate in an early tank fill program to beat peak harvest demand.
Mike Newland, director of agriculture business development, says delayed planting in parts of the Corn Belt could force farmers to harvest higher moisture corn. “I think there’s a benefit to that farmer,” he said. “There’s peace of mind knowing that first load is in the tank and ready to go and that the grain dryer is ready to go.”
He tells Brownfield supply is in good shape.
