The latest round of trade negotiations with China concluded on Thursday. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue says getting that agreement completed remains a priority.
“I think for our farmers and ranchers our top three issues are trade, trade, and trade,” he says.
The Secretary says they’re pleased with the progress of this week’s negotiations, but – he says they don’t want a deal just to say they have one. “We would love to see a comprehensive, major relationship deal with China restored,” he says.
