Minnesota Congressman Collin
Peterson has been elected chairman of the House Ag Committee. It’s the second
time he’s filled that role as a member of the majority, serving first from 2007
through 2011. Peterson says there’s no shortage of work to be done and the job
will be to work together with Republicans “to provide responsible oversight of
the administration and pragmatic solutions” in the farm and food supply chain.

Roberts of Kansas, the chair of the Senate Ag committee, has announced he will
not seek a fifth term in 2020.
